Job Description and Responsibilities

Training and Development Performance

  • Identify training and development needs within an organisation through job analysis, appraisal schemes and regular consultation with operations and business unit director.
  • To design and expand training and development programs based on both the organization’s and the individual's needs
  • To develop effective induction programs
  • To work closely with partner business unit, work in an end to end training program with them, and respond to their training needs.
  • To evaluate the training needs of specific principals and plan training programs accordingly.
  • To devise individual learning plans
  • To produce training materials for in-house courses
  • To manage the delivery of training and development programs and, in a more senior role, devising a training strategy for the organisation;
  • To monitor and review the progress of trainees through questionnaires and discussions with their superiors
  • To ensure that statutory training requirements are met
  • To evaluate  training and development programs
  • To amend and revise programs as necessary, in order to adapt to changes occurring in the work environment;
  • To have an understanding of e-learning techniques, and where relevant, being involved in the creation and/or delivery of e-learning processes.
  • To research new technologies and methodologies in workplace learning and presenting training programs.

 

 Development of Training Executive

 

  • To work harmoniously and productively in a team to produce programs that is satisfactory to all relevant parties in an organisation.
  • To supervise and develop the training executive with varied learning opportunities.
  • To develop the training executive’s competency in handling different accounts simultaneously
  • To monitor training executive’s training and administrative performance.
  • To assist training executive in doing new projects related to her partner business unit.
  • To conduct individual appraisals after training and also to training executive after a semester
  • To expose training executive to several trainings initiated by other training agencies to continuously expand her arena of experience and information.

 

Budget

  • To consider and manage the costs of planned programs and keeping within the budget as prescribed.
  • Develop an annual budget to meet required targets (i.e., logistics)
